About Anarky Creations
What does Anarky Creations sell?
Anarky Creations is a UK-based online hobby store specialising in premium resin miniatures, scenic bases, dry brush palettes, fantasy football trophies, and hobby accessories for wargamers and tabletop RPG players. We 3D print licensed products from leading independent sculptors and manufacturers including Txarli Factory, UGNI Miniatures, Ashen Armies, MGPix, and more — and we also design and manufacture products under our own brand.
Where is Anarky Creations based?
We are based in the United Kingdom and ship internationally to customers worldwide.
Do you manufacture your own products?
Yes — in two ways. We 3D print licensed designs from a curated selection of independent miniature sculptors and manufacturers, each chosen for their quality and relevance to the wargaming and RPG hobby community. We also design and produce products under our own Anarky Creations brand.
Who is behind Anarky Creations?
Anarky Creations was founded by a passionate hobbyist who is now at university studying spacecraft engineering — yes, he builds rocket engines. While he is no longer on-site handling printing and fulfilment day to day, he remains 100% involved in the business and stays in direct contact with customers via messaging. So if you reach out, there is a very real chance you are talking to the person who started all of this — between lectures.
Buying from anarkycreations.com vs. Etsy
Are you the same Anarky Creations as on Etsy?
Yes, absolutely. Anarky Creations started on Etsy and we are proud of our roots there. This website — anarkycreations.com — is our official independent store and is run by the same team, selling the same products.
Is it cheaper to buy from your website than from Etsy?
Yes, in most cases it is meaningfully cheaper to buy directly from anarkycreations.com. Etsy charges sellers significant platform fees on every transaction, and while we absorbed as much of that as we could for as long as we could, those costs ultimately affect pricing. By building our own store, we have removed the equivalent of those fees from what you pay — so the savings go directly to you, not to a marketplace.
Why did you build your own store if you were already on Etsy?
We built anarkycreations.com specifically to benefit our customers. Etsy is where we started and it helped us reach our first community of hobbyists, for which we are genuinely grateful. But as we grew, we wanted to offer lower prices, better discounts, and a more direct relationship with the people who support us. Our own store makes all of that possible.
I bought from you on Etsy — is there a benefit to switching to your website?
Yes — and we actively encourage it. When you purchase from our Etsy shop, you will receive a 10% discount code to use on your next order at anarkycreations.com. It is our way of saying thank you and introducing you to a shopping experience that is already cheaper, with more discounts available and no marketplace fees passed on to you. We hope once you try the direct store, you will not look back.
What can I get on your website that I cannot get on Etsy?
Shopping directly at anarkycreations.com gives you access to lower prices, our subscriber discount (buy three items, get 10% off), free shipping offers, and the ability to stack multiple promotions. These kinds of combined discounts are not possible through Etsy. You also get a more personalised experience and direct access to our support team.
Is my order just as safe buying directly from your website?
Yes. Our store is built on Shopify, one of the world’s leading e-commerce platforms, with secure checkout, encrypted payments, and full buyer protections. You are buying directly from us with complete confidence.
Products & Materials
What materials are the miniatures and bases made from?
Our miniatures and bases are produced in high-resolution resin, which captures fine detail and is ideal for painting. Resin products are rigid, lightweight, and compatible with standard hobby primers and paints.
What are the dry brush palettes made from?
Our dry brush palettes are 3D printed in PLA (Polylactic Acid), a plant-based, biodegradable thermoplastic. PLA is durable, lightweight, and free from the harsh chemicals associated with some other plastics, making it a more environmentally conscious choice for hobby tools.
Are your resin products food-safe?
No. Our resin miniatures and bases are hobby products and are absolutely not food-safe. They are not suitable for use with food, drink, or any consumable items. Please keep all resin products away from children and pets and wash hands after handling unpainted resin.
What base sizes do you stock?
We stock a wide range of scenic bases to suit most popular wargaming systems. Common sizes include 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, and larger scenic bases. Each product listing specifies the available sizes and their prices.
Are the miniatures supplied assembled or unassembled?
Our miniatures are supplied assembled and unpainted unless otherwise stated in the product description. A few models ship with modular components, which will be noted in the listing. Miniatures do not come with bases — these are available separately in our bases range. We do occasionally run special offers where bases are included with fantasy football teams, so keep an eye out for those deals.
Are the products compatible with Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, or other game systems?
Our indie bases and miniatures are designed to be compatible with a wide range of popular wargaming systems — including but by no means limited to Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar and Dungeons & Dragons. It is not all about Games Workshop — there is a huge world of tabletop gaming out there and we cater to a broad range of it. Always check your game system’s base size and compatibility requirements before purchasing.
What is Fantasy Football in the context of your miniatures?
Fantasy Football is a tabletop sports game genre featuring fantasy races competing in a violent ball game. We stock Fantasy Football teams, cheerleaders, and support crew miniatures from brands such as UGNI Miniatures, suitable for use in Blood Bowl and similar games. We have a growing range of blog articles covering the Fantasy Football tabletop scene in depth — well worth a read if you are exploring your options:

Custom Requests, Swaps & Misprints
Can I swap out miniatures in a team or bundle?
We love this kind of request. As a small independent store, we genuinely enjoy working with customers to put together exactly what they need — whether that means dropping one miniature from a team and doubling up on another, or making small adjustments to a bundle to suit your roster. If you have something in mind, just get in touch via our Contact page before placing your order and we will do our best to help.
Can I request a completely custom miniature from my own STL file?
Yes — this is something we can do, and we have considerable experience with it. However, the quality of the result depends heavily on the quality of the STL file provided. A poorly prepared file can take many hours to repair before it is printable, so we handle custom STL requests on a case-by-case basis. Please get in touch before ordering to discuss your file and we will give you an honest assessment of what is involved.
Can I request my miniatures at a slightly larger scale?
Yes — this is something we are happy to accommodate for small adjustments. Some customers prefer their miniatures printed a couple of percent larger than the standard size, and we can do this at no extra charge for modest scaling requests. If you would like a size adjustment, just mention it when you get in touch before ordering and we will let you know if it is something we can do for your chosen product. Larger scale changes may not always be possible, so it is always worth asking first.
Do you include misprints with orders?
Yes — and this is one of our favourite things to do. If we have any misprints from your order that are still usable — perhaps a miniature where one arm printed slightly off, or a tiny bit of a weapon tip was lost — we will pop them into a separate little bag and include them as a free extra alongside your perfect pieces. You always receive your full, quality order as normal; the misprints are simply a bonus on top. Many miniature painters work with putty and conversion materials anyway, and a misprint can make a brilliant extra model to practice on, convert, or use for parts. We would rather they go to a good home than go to waste.
Can I count on receiving misprints with every order?
Not every order will have misprints — it depends entirely on what comes off the print run, and many orders print perfectly. When there are usable misprints, we will always include them. Think of it as a happy bonus rather than a guaranteed extra.
Is there a limit to what you can accommodate?
We are a small team and handle every order personally, which is what makes this kind of flexibility possible. We are happy to accommodate reasonable swap and scaling requests when our workload allows, but we cannot guarantee it during particularly busy periods. The best approach is always to ask first — we will always be honest about what we can do and when.
Is there an extra charge for custom swap or scaling requests?
Not usually. Simple swaps within a team or bundle, and minor scaling adjustments, are something we are happy to discuss at no extra cost, subject to stock availability and any price differences between items. We will always confirm the details with you before proceeding.
Subscriber Benefits & Discounts
What discounts are available to subscribers?
Subscribers to the Anarky Creations newsletter receive an exclusive ongoing benefit: buy any three items and get 10% off your order. This discount is applied automatically or via your subscriber code at checkout and is our way of rewarding the community that supports independent hobby retail.
Does the subscriber discount combine with free shipping?
Yes. The buy-three-get-10%-off subscriber discount combines with our free shipping offer, so you can benefit from both on the same order.
Does the subscriber discount combine with other offers and promotions?
In most cases, yes. The subscriber discount is designed to stack with our regular promotions and sale offers, meaning you can often take advantage of multiple savings at once. Occasionally, specific limited promotions may exclude combination discounts — any exceptions will be clearly noted in the relevant offer details at the time.
How do I become a subscriber to access these benefits?
Simply sign up to the Anarky Creations newsletter using the subscription form on our website. Stay subscribed to ensure you continue to receive your benefits and are first to hear about new arrivals and exclusive offers.

Shipping & Delivery
Which courier do you use to ship orders?
We ship all orders via Royal Mail, which we have found to be the most reliable service for getting your hobby items to you safely and on time. We visit our local post office three times a week to drop off orders — they know us well — and we are proud to support our local community in the process.
Is shipping tracked?
Yes — all orders are sent with tracking via Royal Mail. You will receive tracking information in your dispatch confirmation email so you can follow your parcel from us to you.
Where do you ship to?
We deliver to the UK, EU, Norway, Switzerland, Cyprus, USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Shipping costs, delivery estimates, and any applicable import fees are shown at checkout before you pay.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free shipping is available on qualifying orders. Current free shipping thresholds are: UK orders over £50, EU orders over £100, Norway / Switzerland / Cyprus orders over £100, and US orders over £100. Thresholds are based on order value before any discounts are applied. Check at checkout for the current rate applicable to your location.
How long will my order take to be ready to ship?
All Anarky Creations products are custom made and packed to order. Most orders are printed and ready to ship within 4 working days of being placed. During busy periods or holidays, handling time may extend up to 8 working days. We will always keep you informed if there is a delay.
How long will delivery take once my order has shipped?
UK orders typically arrive within 2–3 working days of dispatch via Royal Mail. International delivery times vary by destination and will be indicated during the checkout process. Please allow additional time during busy postal periods.
I am in the EU — will I be charged VAT or import fees on delivery?
No — and this is something we are proud of. Anarky Creations is registered under the EU Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme. This means that VAT on eligible orders is collected and declared at the point of sale, so there are no surprise charges waiting for you at the door when your parcel arrives. What you pay at checkout is what you pay — full stop. IOSS registration is our way of making the post-Brexit cross-border experience as smooth as possible for our EU customers.
I have heard about new EU regulations affecting UK sellers — does this affect my order?
Since Brexit, UK sellers shipping to the EU are subject to EU import VAT rules, which is why we invested in IOSS registration — to handle this on your behalf and remove the friction. We monitor regulatory changes closely and will always aim to keep the buying experience as straightforward as possible for EU customers. If you have a specific concern, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
I am in the US — will I be affected by tariffs?
The global tariff landscape has shifted significantly in recent times, and we want to be honest with you about it. Orders shipped from the UK to the US may be subject to US import duties depending on the value and classification of the goods. We show estimated import fees at checkout where we are able to, but the final determination of any duties is made by US Customs and Border Protection and is outside our control. We recommend checking the current US import thresholds and rates before ordering if you have concerns. We are a small independent business and, like many UK sellers, we are navigating these changes alongside our customers — we will always be transparent about what we know.
Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes for other countries?
International orders outside the EU may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local VAT depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the customer. Estimated import fees are shown at checkout where applicable, and we recommend checking your local customs rules before ordering.
What happens if my parcel is lost?
If you think your parcel may be lost, please contact us within 14 days of its expected delivery date. Royal Mail considers a parcel lost after 10 working days beyond the due date, at which point a compensation claim can be initiated. We will guide you through the next steps — please do not delay in getting in touch as claims have time limits.
What happens if my parcel arrives damaged?
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If your parcel arrives damaged in transit, contact us at contact@anarkycreations.com within 14 days with clear photographs showing the damage. Every item is checked and documented before dispatch, so claims are assessed against our pre-dispatch records. Where damage is consistent with a genuine transit fault, we will send a direct replacement once the return has been received and inspected. We do not issue monetary refunds for damaged items but will always make it right with a replacement.
What happens if I do not collect my parcel?
If a parcel is returned to us because it was not collected from a post office, depot, or nominated collection point, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping. We will contact you to arrange re-delivery upon payment of the applicable postage fee. If you no longer wish to receive the item, a discretionary refund of the original item cost only may be issued — original and return postage costs will not be refunded.
Returns & Refunds
Do you check items before dispatch?
Yes — every item is individually inspected and documented before it is packaged and dispatched. This means we can accurately assess any claims of damage or defect against our pre-dispatch records.
What is your return window?
We operate a 28-day return window. You have 14 days from receiving your item to notify us of a return request, and a further 14 days to send the item back. This is consistent with your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Can I return an item if I change my mind?
Yes, for standard (non-personalised) items that are unused, unpainted, undamaged, and in their original packaging. To start a return, contact us at contact@anarkycreations.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Return postage is at the buyer’s cost. There is no restocking fee. Returns are not accepted on final sale items.
Can I return a personalised or custom-made item?
Personalised and custom-made goods cannot be returned or refunded unless the item arrives demonstrably defective, damaged, or materially different from what was ordered. This is consistent with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which exempt bespoke goods made to a customer’s specifications from the standard cancellation right. If you believe your personalised item is faulty, please contact us within 14 days of receipt with photographic evidence.
Do you offer exchanges?
We do not accept exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return your original order (where eligible) and place a new order.
What about returns for EU customers?
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt for any reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations. If your order is already in transit when you exercise this right, please allow it to be delivered and return it to us unopened and in its original packaging within 14 days of receipt. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. Once we have verified the parcel is unopened and in its original condition, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that personalised or custom-made goods are exempt from the EU 14-day cooling-off right.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we have received and inspected your return and confirmed it meets the eligibility criteria, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process this. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund, please contact us at contact@anarkycreations.com.
For the full details, please read our Refund Policy.
Packaging & Sustainability
How are orders packaged?
We pack every order in brown kraft card boxes — a recyclable, sustainably sourced cardboard that is kinder to the environment than bleached or plastic-coated alternatives. Inside, we use protective padding to keep your miniatures and bases safe in transit, with as little waste as possible.
Do you use eco-friendly or sustainable packaging?
Yes, sustainability is something we think about at every stage. Our boxes are brown kraft card, which is widely recyclable. We favour paper-based void fill, avoid unnecessary single-use plastic, and reuse bubble wrap sourced from a local solar panel installation company rather than buying new. Every small decision adds up.
Where does your bubble wrap come from?
We partner with a local solar panel installation company and reuse the bubble wrap that arrives wrapped around their solar panels. Rather than letting it go to waste, we give it a second life protecting your orders. It is a small but meaningful way we reduce packaging waste and support circular reuse — and it means the bubble wrap in your parcel has already had a life in the renewable energy industry before it reaches you.
What do you do with printing waste and unusable misprints?
We do not simply bin printing waste. We save it up and send it off to a specialist third-party recycling service. They send us a box, we fill it over time, and once it is full we send it back to be processed. We shop around for the best value provider to keep this as cost-effective as possible, but the commitment to diverting waste from landfill stays constant regardless of who we use at any given time.
Can I recycle the packaging my order arrives in?
Yes. The kraft card box and any paper void fill are recyclable through standard household or kerbside recycling. The reused bubble wrap can often be reused again yourself, or dropped off at supermarket soft plastic collection points where available. Please check your local recycling guidelines for specific materials.
Caring for Your Products
How should I store resin and PLA products?
Store resin and PLA products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme heat. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures can cause warpage. A hobby storage case or foam-lined box is ideal for keeping painted miniatures safe and dust-free.
Do I need to clean resin miniatures and bases before painting?
No — all our miniatures and bases are thoroughly cleaned and prepared before shipping. They arrive ready to prime and paint straight out of the box. We take a great deal of care in removing all support material and ensuring every piece is as clean and paint-ready as possible before it leaves us. It is a time-consuming process, but it is one of the things we are most proud of — and it means you can get straight to the fun part.
How do I repair a broken resin piece?
Thin resin parts such as spears, antennae, or fine details can be fragile. If a piece breaks, cyanoacrylate (super glue) is the most effective adhesive for resin-to-resin repairs. For larger breaks, pinning with a thin metal rod provides additional strength. Superfine White, Vallejo Plastic Putty and Green Stuff are popular options for gap filling and sculptural repairs. Please do check material compatibility first.
How do I protect a painted miniature?
Once painting is complete, apply a sealant to protect the paintwork. Matte varnish is popular for a natural finish, while satin or gloss varnish offers greater durability. Apply in thin, even coats in a well-ventilated area and avoid spraying in humid or very cold conditions.
How do I care for my dry brush palette?
Our dry brush palettes are 3D printed in PLA. To keep them in good condition, avoid soaking in water for extended periods or exposing to temperatures above approximately 38°C, as prolonged heat can cause the material to soften or deform. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use — and don’t leave it on a windowsill or desk in direct sunlight, or in a hot car! In hot summer weather we may not stock the XL palette, as this size can occasionally be affected by high temperatures during transit.
Is PLA safe to use with hobby paints and materials?
Yes. PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a non-toxic, plant-based plastic that is safe for use with standard acrylic hobby paints, washes, and dry brush mediums. It does not react with water-based paints and is suitable for everyday hobby use.
Can I recycle my dry brush palette?
PLA is technically compostable under industrial composting conditions, though it is not accepted by most standard kerbside recycling schemes. Some specialist PLA recycling services exist — check with your local waste provider for options. The palettes are designed to be long-lasting and reusable, minimising the need for disposal, one member of staff has been using his for six years already! Each palette is shipped already primed with top-quality primer, so it is 100% ready to use straight out of the box. Heavy use over many years may eventually warrant re-priming rather than replacing; if so, we recommend taping off the raised edge before re-priming the central dry brush section, as adding primer to the edge may affect its fit in the lid of The Army Painter wet palette.
Hobby & Painting Advice
What primer should I use on resin miniatures?
Because all our miniatures and bases are cleaned and support-removed before shipping, they are ready to prime straight away — no washing required. We recommend using a dedicated miniature primer (spray or brush-on) compatible with resin. Popular choices include grey, black, or white primers depending on your intended colour scheme. Do you sell painting supplies or hobby tools?
Yes, we stock a range of hobby accessories including dry brush palettes designed for miniature painters and our 3DWiard accessory for rotating photography turntables. Ideal for use in a lightbox. Browse our Hobby Accessories and Dry Palettes collections for the full range.
